The diagrams below show the life cycle of the silkworm and the stages in the production of silk cloth

The set of diagram illustrate the stages of the silkworm's life as well as the step by step process of making silk clothes.

The first process is the emerging process. Form the eggs, the silkworm is emerged with wings. After 10 days, from the mulberry leaf, the silkworm larva is transpired. It future process in the silk thread in upcoming 4 to 6 weeks. The next production is the cocoon which takes up to 8 days. This cocoon is the final outcome. Afterwards again in 16 days the cocoon emerges moth. And the moment the moth gives eggs, the process continues.

Now cocoon will be taken for further production. Firstly the cocoon are boil in boiler with the liquid water. Then by unwind the cocoon. The threads is made by twisting the boiled cocoon, it may long about 300-900m. The dying process is done after threading and the dye is now on the threads of cocoon.

This is how the silk clothes process had done by cyclic and non cyclic process.
