Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The amount of money you earn is the most important reason for choosing a job. Use specific reasons and example to support your answer.
In order to living, nowadays, money and job trend to be crucial life’s factors. Of course, everyone needs a good job. In term of a good job for each one depends on what each one uses to categorize. Although, some people believe that the amount of money they earn is the most important, in my opinion, money is not such a thing due to following reasons.
First of all, I believe that high income, for now, cannot gives you a promise that you will earn more money and be successful in the future. For example, one of my friends chose to work for a small company, which had about ten employees and it does not have levels of position. Because of high salary, she worked there for 5 years as the same position, and did the same job duties everyday. As a result, her skill had not expanded as much as it should be. Obviously, she got the same amount of money as she got when she started to work for the company. Therefore, the example of my friend clearly illustrates that choosing a job by regarding to money, as a main factor does not guarantee your success and income in the future promisingly.
In addition, the job that gives high salary cannot provide a happiness for workers most of the time. Some people are happy with a pleasant circumstance at the work place, such as the company has a good system, and everyone can get along; even though, they do not acquire a lot of money. Give myself as an example. I chose to work in my school’s laboratory rather than work for the big company. The reason of that was the school’s laboratory had a good system and relaxed culture. Moreover, my colleagues and I are getting along so well. Therefore, I chose to continue working for my school’s laboratory rather than find another job.
In conclusion, there is not doubt that money might be a major factor that almost everyone uses it to make a decision in order to get a job. However, the job that has high salary cannot promise that your future would be beautiful and successful, and you will be happy. I would say, “ Money is not everything in your life, we should not consider it as a priority of making decision of everything.”
