Human being, by nature, crave for trying new things. As a result, people tend to take a vacations every once in a while. Given that, in order to get most out of their travels, the issue of finding the best method of travelling has become of high importance for individuals. Whether to travel alone or in a group? Is it better to hire a tour guide or travel on their own? Although there are few positive points in traveling lonley, such as being independent, merits of taking a trip with a group lead by a tour guide overweigh those of alone-no-guide trips. There are two persuasive arguments in support of the above-mentioned statement discussing it from the safty and time efficiency perspective.
The firs aspect that deserves to be pointed out is that going to a journey in a numbers are much safer. Since there are always someone around you, you never get lost and in the case of any kind of emergency, there will be a person to take care of you and help you; and, in sever cases, they even take you to a hospital. This advantage would be of utmost usefulness, especially in trips in the nature where lots of natural dangers threaten human such as wild animals, poisonous insects, or even covered holes in the ground that we might fell into accidentaly. For instance, it is highly recomended to go hiking on a group.
Aside from the point mentioned about safty, one cannot overlook the fact the guided trips are much more pleasant and time efficient. If there is no one who already know the destination of the trip, we cannot easily figure out tourist attractions of the target place. Even if we manage to find them by asking locals or searching the internet, finding the rout to destination would still be a problem. Therefore, having no guidance potentially results in missing out proper places and losing a lot of time. For instance, there are so many beautiful places in New York. If no one helps you find them, given the heavy traffic in the city, you might see half as much as places as you could, if you had a guide. Therefore, it is wiser to utilize a guide while traveling.
In a word, owing to the causes and elucidations outlined in the previous paragraphs, it appears reasonable to safely draw the conclusion that taking a vacation in a group with a tour guide who knows the destination is much more appealing to people because it is not only much safer, but it is also more time efficient and no important attraction would be neglected.
