Do you agree or disagree? "Libraries and sports have similar importance to colleges and universities."

Libraries are essential for all universities so that students can get more books to read, as well as sports are also need for every student development. So i agrees with the statement that sports and libraries should have equal importance in colleges and universities.

Sports help students to relax from studies. In this competitive world, are always running behind books to get more knowledge to earn good grades and to achieve their goals. In their busy schedule, they must have time to relax. The best way to relax is to play games. If they don't relax they cannot concentrate more on their studies. By playing sports which they are interested in, they can get mental relief from stress and pressure. This will be more helpful for the students during their exams time. For example, when i was studying graduation, i used to play table tennis with my friend. Even though i played for ten or fifteen minutes, it gave more relaxation and i can able to concentrate more.

Sports also helps to maintain our health. Health is more important to anyone. An old saying is there " Health is wealth". Playing sports is not only mental relaxation but also physical relaxation to our body, moreover it is good exercise to the body. We can get good physical fitness by playing sports. We can burn many calories in our body by playing so it will help us to get rid off fat and cholesterol.

Sports also helpful to the students in their further studies and career. In some universities their are specific seats for national players, that is know as sports quota and in jobs also they will allot some seats for players. Even though they have less marks or grades than others, they will get the seats and jobs. For example, my friend got 3000 rank and i got 2000 rank in EAMCET. He got a seat in government college, whereas i got in private college. Because he is a national player in table tennis.

To conclude, sports are as equal as studies. So it is better to give equal importance in providing facilities for both, studies and games. We need to encourage students in both.
