Imagine that you have received some land to use as you wish. How would you use this land? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer.
In my country we mostly have incredible good weather, with sunshine from the morning till the evening. People like to go out and spend their time outside and not inside. If I were given land for free, I would use it to build and run a beach club on it.
The first reason for me to establish a beach club on my property is a very simple one: money. The supply for land is low and the demand is huge, wherefore the prices are high. If you run a business on your own land, you will not need to pay rent to a landlord and this will increase your profits. Furthermore, on your own land you do not have to ask your hirer when you want to change something on his or her property, but can do it as you want. This saves time and you can put more work into your project, which will be beneficial for your business and increase your earnings.
In addition to this, I appreciate to work with people and also like to have my friends and family around me. It is a common thing in my country, to go for a drink after your working day is over. As the sun shines until late in the evening, a beach club would be the ideal place for having a cocktail. I would invite all my friends and family on every possible occasion to join my club, so that we could spend as much time as possible together. They would have a great time at the pool and could chill in sun, while my staff would serve the drinks.
I know that running a beach club is much more work than I may think of and that it may sound unrealistic but it is one of my dreams to run a business like that.
