Many people have a close relationship with their pets. These people treat their birds, cats, or other animals as members of their family. In your opinion are such relationships good or not? Why?

Although today people are more eager to living with the pets because of the companionship provided by them, living with pets has some disadvantages. Pets involve their owners with their needs and prevent them from doing other activities. In addition, people with pets might lose their motivation to make friends, or refuse to share their sense with their family.

First of all, living with pets, people are involving with the pets requires. In fact, each of the pets such as dogs, kittens, birds, and so forth has lots of needs that cause their owners to get into troubles. For instance, I have a friend who is living with a bid dog. All the time, he is worried on his dog so that he cancels his activities on the weekends. As he mentioned, he cannot leave his dog alone at home, or he must walk with it. So, people with pets deprive themselves of having pleasure with their friends and doing other actions.

Second reason that causes I am opponent of living with pets is that it can hurt the human relations. People with pets have usually a good relationship with them that might keep them from making attempt in order to finding friends. In fact, animals are not as complicated as the human is and people can easily interact with them. Sometimes we are observant that people with pets are paying less attention to their families and their children. Furthermore, living with pets might cause the general population to prefer to be pets rather than trying to find their favorite spouses and creating a family. As a result, pets can damage the feeling of human with having influence on their relationships in the community and in the family.

In my opinion, living with pets might be practical for few people who are alone, but, it is not totally a good idea to encourage people to have a pet because pets make them busy and far from the human senses which can disturb their lives and poses the problems in the family life.
