Playing games is fun only when you win

I do not agree with the statement that playing games is fun only when you win. Winning and losing is not important, what is important is learning lessons, and understanding of rules that can apply in real life. I would prefer to play a game to have fun, to rejuvenate my mind and increase my knowledge. I have number of reasons to support my answer.

First, Games are made for fun and entertainment and people enjoy while playing games. From childhood to adulthood every age of people loves playing games. My grandfather's favorite game is carom even though he loses sometimes but again he starts playing. I have a video game shop near to my home and my brother use to go there pays money and play. They charge per game. He likes going there for fun.

Sometimes, it depends on ones mood to play games. If he/she has mood to play games they play not because they want to win the game but for the enjoyment they want to play. I had a friend who used to play Mario game on the Internet even though he cleared all the levels but she still wants to play that game again. Whenever my husband comes back from office he always plays video games, he feels so relaxed after playing video games.

Another reason that people play games because it kills your stress. Students easily get stressed during exams time and taking out some time to play games gives relief and divert their mind for some time. In this way they study and when stressed they play games.

I also think that playing games brings family together. As there is no age for playing games, so from smaller one to bigger one in the family all comes together and play games. My family and I play carom in the night after dinner when all my family members sit together and play that game.

Games are good until they are played in a healthy way. I do not like games which are played with money. I am against of playing gambling. So many people have lost their money due to this. Games are made for entertainment and fun.

In conclusion, I would say playing games are not only for fun but they enhance your knowledge and mind brain games- for example. You have to use your mind and make a strategy to play game. It sharpens your mind. So I do not agree with the statement that playing games is fun only when you win.
