Nowadays most of the people want to live in big cities rather than living in a small town. Both have its advantages and disadvantages. This essay will discuss the issue of living in small town or big city.

Most young adults prefer to be in big cities for their education and job purpose.In this new world its not easy to get a job without outstanding performances. For that we have to select good colleges or universities. Most of the colleges and institutions are in cities. So people wanted to shift to large cities. All software companies and Industries are located in cities. So people are thinking to shift from small towns to cities where companies are located.

People have all the facilities like libraries to read and get the books,stadiums and grounds to play,gyms for exercises, theaters to enjoy the movies. But cost of living is more in cities than towns.

But due to urbanization there is rapid increase in the population. It has become a problem for the government to give good facilities like sheltar and water. Cities are becoming polluted by industrialization and urbanization. This mostly affects the health of the people in turn causes more diseases.

In small town there are plenty of resources of water and fresh food and vegetables and are not much polluted areas. So less chances being unhealthy. So elder people after their retirement they want to settle in small towns. But education levels are not that great and job sources are less in towns.

So it is completely based on individual's priority.Depending on their needs and family needs they have to decide where to live. Opinion may vary depending on the persons point of view.
