First, the reading states that people who reading the books declined, in these days, especially for literature. The professor's lecture opposes this point by explain that there are less book in generally. We also learn that the books are not good.
Another reason that the professor uses to casts doubt on the reading is that the culture of people changed in these day. According to the professor, in past, in many cultures, it is waste time to listen to music or watch the movie but today the culture change, and it is not accurate about novels. However, the reading claims that the books are less demanded and people are willing to spend their time to watch tv or listen to music.
Finally, the article posits that the literature written in good way .However, the professor argues that the author does not write the article in good way. According to the professor, the authors write the article in way, which is difficult to undrestand.
In conclusion, the points made in the lecture contrast with the reading.
