Sea animals have developed their camouflage to hide from the predators and blend in with the environment. The professor gives two examples to illustrate this. First, she states that leafy sea dragons look like their environment in their color and shape because they are green and resemble the leaf. But when they stay in a place without green sea plants, their camouflage does not work. In another example, the professor claims that cuttlefishes possess shifting pigments that allows the cuttlefish to blend in with any environment. They can change into green among green sea plants and can turn into brown in a rocky place like sea floor. Although they do not have a particular shape, their mobility gives them the ability to move and instantly match with their surroundings.
