The diagram below shows the development of a particular area between 1965 and the present day.
Giving the pictures are comparing to renovation of the area from 1965 to up till now.
Overall, it can be noticed that there has been a considerable change in the area, in which the addition of architecture can be accessed smoothly for dwellers.
As can be obvious, the ferry had been replaced by a road bridge along with a foot bridge underneath itself that was directly approaching the city. In the present day, making a large car park on the left bank of the river, which is parallel with the foot bridge. Subsequently, the forest has been demolished, which is recreated by other car parks at a given time.
Looking at the north of the area, apartments had been constructed downstream, whereas, Assford had just four houses in 1965, then added one house in the modern-day. Furthermore, the scattered houses had been erected on the right rivers and there was also a new car park in this place.
