Some people think studying in groups is better, while some think self study is better for school students. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
approaches to education can vary depending on social conditions and traditions. while many people prefer self-study, or individual pursuit, another indispensable, long-lasting, and most favored educational mode is collaborative and teacher-led instruction.
With modern technology, one can be quite able to be self-trained and not have to go to school. homeschooling is becoming popular in some countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and the US, etc. The provision of learning materials and resources on MOOC, and mass courses online has made it easy and comfortable to learn any aspects and disciplines. homeschooling is seen to be an economical method with which one can develop, grow, and advance intellectually with low, flexible investment and expenses in terms of finance and efforts.
However, at-school learning has its values. while studying independently at home, probably supported by technologies, or parents and siblings is not suitable for many young people because of its inhuman nature, education at schools provides a natural environment that is conducive to holistic personal growth. education has more significance and purpose rather than merely targeting abundant knowledge. learning is a social experience where interaction with peers, and teachers is essential for whole development both physically and mentally.
In short, which approach to adopt for general education can be a debate and relies on personal choice. I am among those who would certainly vote for the traditional mode of schooling, that is, conserving the long-lasting existence of academic institutes, no matter whether they are for young kids or adults.
