The local government is planning to change the bus timetable. You are not happy about the proposed changes.
Write a letter to the newspaper. In the letter
• describe the changes
• explain how that will affect you
• say how you would like the service to be improved
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with your proposal to change the timetable of buses in my town.
The appointed council published the new changes recently which I am not accepting it. The new schedule of my regular bus where crosses directly in front my house has changed. However, I was waking up early to catch it up, new schedule does not have the morning route any more. I tried to double check with the council customer service, but no one picked up my call.
New schedule will tremendously affect my daily commuting to work as it is the only available local transport service. Although I own a car, I would prefer to go to work by bus. In addition, any other means will be taking longer route that I cannot absorb.
Instead of changing the time of buses, I would suggest that you put more focus on buses enhancement. For example, many new buses are supplied with the internet service and TV. These kinds of facilities improve the service among the commuters. Please consider my advice in before taking any decision.
I look forward for your revised proposal.
Yours faithfully,
Ayoub
