The bar chart gives information about how much citizens in four European countries (namely Germany, Italy, France and Britain) spent on different items. It is evident that British people spent the most considerable amount of money on all six goods. The highest figure in the six items was photographic film.
The most popular item that British consumers spent on was photographic film with over 170,000 pounds. In contrast, people paid the least for all products with roughly the same figures (just under 150,000 pounds) for each of the six products.
The figure for spending on toys was very similar in both Italy and France, at nearly 160,000 pounds. However, while French consumers paid out more for CDs and photographic film, Italian consumers spent more on personal stereos, tennis racquets and perfumes. The amount spent by French consumers on tennis racquets, around 145,000 pounds, is the lowest figure shown in the chart.
