5. Many people decide on a career path early in their lives and keep to it. This, they argue, leads to a more satisfying working life. To what extent do you agree with this view? What other things can people do in order to have a satisfying working life?
It is true many people have their road map ready for their future career and growth in their early lives. As a result, they are happy with their jobs. However, others don’t have plans or road map but still they have more satisfying work life and fame.
To begin with, many people have planned their future in early stages of their lives. Good vision about their future growth most of the time starts for an individual home. Parents with higher education are mentors of their children. Most of the parents work at a good level in office, either in Government sector or private company. Parents always encouraged their children to aim for the place where they are working at present. For example, a doctor will always encourage his children to become a doctor in future. This kind of interest develops in children at the very young age, as a result young people are well aware what they wanted to do in future, and so plans are prepare, and executed. This also leads them a more satisfying and monetary benefit job.
Furthermore, there is also an emotional attachment to work. For instance, people who have their own independent business will always prefer their family members to run it for a long period. Consequently, people are groom and educated to make them aware what they wanted to pursue further in their life. This leads them to more satisfying job in future as they are clear with their future work.
Nevertheless, others do not have any plans or road map, but still they are happy and satisfied with their job in life. Many people have different aims and multiple goals. People are happy in doing multiple things. For some people, social work is more satisfying than the work done for money-making. For example, Mother Teresa, she was happy in doing social work, for the good cause, and for the benefit of the street children. She found her job more satisfying than the regular jobs people do for the living.
In conclusion, as mentioned above, I agree it is important for a person to plan their growth, which leads them to a more satisfying job, but others who do not have any growth plan are quite successful and satisfied with their jobs.
