The illustrations represents data of energy used in Australian households and the greenhouse gas emission produced from its use.
As its obvious from the pie chart, Australians use mainly energy for heating and water heating in 42 per cent and 30 per cent respectively. Cooling represented only small portion of energy used in Australians households with just only two per cent. Similar trend was seen in lighting and refrigeration ( 4% and 7%).
Second illustration shows percentage of gas emission produced from energy use. It is obvious, that water heating and using other appliances produced the most greenhouse gas emissions (32 per cent and 28 per cent). Followed heating and refrigeration with almost same percentage fifth-teen and fourth-teen per cent respectively. Cooling and lighting produced just small percentage of greenhouse gases in Australian households (3 and 8 per cent).
To sum up, Water heating as the one of the top way how Australians use energy pollute environment the most in compare to using of other appliances which does not represent majority of use, however, produce the second highest of greenhouse gas emissions.
