The maps illustrate the planned transformation of a university's sports centre after its refurbishment. Overall, as can be clearly seen, there will occur various changes making the centre much more modern and convenient.
Now, the sports centre is quite simple with three main parts, namely two outdoor courts on the two side and a main house in the middle which has a reception right at the front door, a changing room in the left, a seating area in the right, and a gym area. All of them are surrounding a 25-metre swimming pool.
However, manifold developments are going to modernize the whole area. The most notable of all must be the reconstruction that will merge all the current facilities into one large building, while adding several amenities. While the outdoor courts on the west side will be replaced by a leisure pool, the east side one would be converted to a smaller sports hall, making room to expand the gym area and erect two new dance studios in the northeastern corner. Apart from that, two changing rooms will be built in two opposite corner near the entrance, next to a sports shop and a café.
