The picture reveals the process of chocolate production. It consists of 10 steps from raw materials up to end product.
Initially, cocoa is planted and grown abundantly in America, Africa, and Indonesia and when it grows, it produces ripe red pods. These pods are then collected for harvesting and white cocoa beans are extracted from the center of each pod. The white beans, afterwards, are then fermented in a rectangular basin where it is spread and left under the sun for drying purposes. Next, the dried beans are then put in sacks and are stacked for transportation via train or trucks and are delivered to factories.
The beans are then roasted in factory chambers in high temperature, 350 degrees Celsius. Subsequently, they are put in crushing machine and their outer shells are removed and separated from the roasted beans. Lastly, the crushed product is then pressed by 2 rollers until liquid chocolate is produced.
