The too bar chart and graph compare Japanese tourist in terms of overall number of travellers and Australia's share of this opportunity between 1985 and 1995.
It is clear that the last two years(1994 and 1995)have by far the highest number of tourists and Japanese visiting Australia. It is also noticeable that the figures in 1995 and 1990 are different because where the Japanese tourists had a sharp increase, Australia's Japanese visitors had declined.
In the first comparison, in the year of 1985, when there were only 4 millions of Japanese tourists, they had their minimum rate. The tourist population had a steady rise till 1990, before having a fluctuation and then in 1991, it is shown that they had rose to hit their peak in 1995(about 15 million).
In the second graph, the figure of Japanese tourists in Australia had slightly climbed while in 1990 the number of visitors in Australia had plunged with about 1%. The tourist markets in there had an upward trend since 1990, except in 1995, where Japanese tourists had elevated around the world oppositely.
To recap, it is significant to say however,4x growth in Japanese tourists was beneficial for Australia, in peak points, Australia's market didn't make enough profit. It might be because of another tourist's attraction competitions.
