The diagram shows the structure that is used to generate electricity from wave power.
The given pictorial representation manifests how the electricity is engendering from sea waves.
According to the layouts, the electricity producing machine works in two ways. Firstly, the structure is placed near the sea so that wave water gets inside the chamber and creates an air pressure that would rotate the turbine placed inside a column. One part of the column is fixed with the sea wall while the other part is extended towards the sea. The chamber is a curved shaped extension of the column that helps to control the air pressure and with the help of air the turbine is circulated and engender energy.
The second illustration depicts how the electricity can be produced by using the flowing back tide of the sea. During the drawing back , the water gets off from the chamber and the air pressure is created again from the opposite direction. This rotates the turbine faster and this turbine is used to generate electricity.
Overall , as is observed from the given diagrams, both high and low tides are used for generating the electricity.
