Dear Karen,
I am writing this letter to report an issue with my office laptop. The laptop screen seems to be faulty, as the screen is flickering and I am unable to use it while working from home.
Let me explain the situation in more details. My team has been assigned a few audit tasks, which have critical deadlines. As a commitment to this project, I chose to spend more number of work hours. Hence, I got a laptop assigned to me from your department, allowing me to work from home in-order to complete my assignments. It worked fine for a couple of days until today, the laptop screen started flickering. I find it very inconvenient, trying to work with a faulty machine while having critical deadlines.
Could you please consider this letter as my request to replace the faulty laptop with a functional one. I would really appreciate if I could receive a functional laptop as soon as possible so that I can resume my responsibilities immediately. I believe my manager has already approved this request.
Please let me know.
Your Sincerely,
John
