The world is experiencing a dramatic increase in population. This is causing not only for poor, undeveloped countries, but also for industrialized and developing nations.
Describe some of the problems that overpopulation causes, and suggest at least one possible solution.
The number of habitats of the world has almost doubled over the span of last fifty years, and this figure is getting increase incredibly fast. Naturally, overpopulation brings about a lot of problems for both poor countries and rich ones. This essay will address the issues which are the results of overpopulation, and I will reveal my point of view in order to solve this dire problem.
To begin with, we must acknowledge that density, traffic jams, pollution which are the inseparable parts of our contemporary life in the urban areas are the direct outcomes of overpopulation. Actually, poor sanitary conditions can be easily noticed in every metropolitan area all over the world. Moreover, rural areas also suffer from this issue, for instance, the quantity of lands per person is getting decrease, the amount of contaminants and chemicals has risen significantly and etc. The most terrible fact is that overpopulation is a global issue; it threats both poor nations and industrialized countries at the same time.
Nevertheless, when it comes to my personal view, it is more vital to emphasize that overpopulation is a long-term process which involves government restrictions, making the public be aware of this urgent problem and etc. Furthermore, to my mind, the governments must introduce new legislation about the controlling the size of families through taxes in some countries where this problem is more threatening. For example, to date, the governments of China and India have passed the laws relating to the management of the number of children families owe.
To take all the issues described above into account, we can consent with the view that overpopulation is an unavoidable problem which majority of the countries face. However, it is a manageable issue, and we are able to decrease the speed of overpopulation through the government restrictions and taxes.
