Your neighbor burns his garbage near your house.
1) complain about the situation.
2) explain about the affects of his actions on your family.
3) suggest a solution.
Dear Mr. James,
I am Ell, your neighbor, living next to your apartment. My objective of writing is to complain about the garbage you often burn in front of my apartment.
I have been observing this since long but then I thought that It is temporary and would be fixed. Unfortunately, now burning of garbage is being noticed every week or so. Therefore, I decided to put my pen on paper.
Burning garbage near one's house is unacceptable and unethical behavior in the society. Moreover, my mother has an asthma problem and by inhaling toxic air after the burn make air quality worst around our house. As you know, evening is the only time for my family to sit together and spend quality of time in our lawn. Sadly, we are not able to do so or step outside our house because of toxic air after burn.
Mr. James, I hope that you would not take this letter as offended. My only intention is to fix this problem mutually. I think that you should start availing the services of municipal corporation, they tend to collect garbage on daily basis. Municipal authorities will either dump or take your garbage into incineration ground and that will be for benefit of society and environment.
I hope you will understand my concern and let me know If we can do anything else together.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Ell Green
