Every moment, in different parts of the world, some people are having trouble while others are celebrating. This doesn’t stop human desire from achieving higher in life. Similarly, the world may be facing troubles, but it doesn’t mean space exploration should be stopped. I disagree that space exploration is a complete waste of money and in this essay, I will discuss further on my notions.

First of all, with the advancement of medicine and science, the world’s population is increasing at an alarming pace and the world will be overpopulated in the near future. Scientists are searching for solutions and space explorers are searching for another planet that can sustain life. They may find signs of life in other planets, and if that happens, the universe can accommodate more human beings and other living things. For instance, in history, it was believed that the earth is square, however with explorations, it was found that the earth is actually round and life exist in other parts of the world.

Secondly, space exploration has expanded our knowledge of the universe. In the past, people neither know what was on the moon, what was meteor, nor what was outside earth. Today, we have learned so much about the universe, and these are credits to space explorers. In addition to that, satellites have also contributed to a large part of advancement of internet and technology.

In conclusion, space exploration may discover another planet to accommodate life, hence, solving overpopulation issue. In addition to that, it has also contributed to our knowledge, internet and technology. Therefore, in my opinion, space exploration is not a complete waste of money and should not be stopped.
