Writing and reading ability of people today is more important than in the past for many reasons. Some of them are tendency of people to learn, availability of learning centers, and willing to communication.

The first and foremost reason is that reading and writing are two prominent tools for learning and being aware of information. As we all know that today the tendency of people to learning is more than ancient people, consequently these two tools have become more important and valuable than before. People are forced to match with world. For this matching at least they need know reading and writing. The speed of progression such as creating a new device, exploring a new place, and inventing a new technology are as much as we cannot even imagine. How we can compare this pace of enhancement with that of it was before? For being aware of these events people should able to read. With these skills they are able to go ahead with up-to-date information in their life

Pervious people did not access to any institutions or centers for learning these skills. Just a few people who belong to wealthy level of society could learn these skills. To put the issue into perspective, I completely consent that the ability of reading and writing is more important than before, since the tendency of people to learn is more than previous, there are numerous centers for enhancing these abilities, and the interest in communication is more prevalent among people as I have mentioned them above.
