You recently noticed a local restaurant that was offering a part-time job.
Write a letter to the restaurant’s manager. In your letter,
1. explain that you would like to apply for the job
2. give some details of any relevant experience that you have
3. specify the days and times that would suite you
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my interest on the part-time job opening in your good restaurant which was advertised on today’s local newspaper.
Please let me present my experience on the food industry. Firstly, I have worked as a waiter in Amara Restaurant for two years and then, promoted as an assistance supervisor. Although I love the job, I resigned from this Restaurant after three years later because of my intention to seek new challenges in the career life. Looking at the job advertisement from your good restaurant, I believe that it will absolutely suite my style of working.
Personally, I am a hardworking team player. I will be available for the job during the weekdays after 3pm and the whole weekends. It will be nice if we can have a coffee talk to explore more about nature of the job and your expectation on this position.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
Mr. Yan Aye
