The graph illustrates the rates of employment for men and women across 6 countries (Australia, Switzerland, Iceland, UK, New Zealand and USA) in 1995 and 2005.
Overall, the left two bars of each country show the percentage of men in year 1995 and 2005 whereas the right two bars show the women employment percentage in the same years. Furthermore, males employment rate is higher when compared with females in both years.
The employment rate of men in Iceland in the year 2005 is above 80%, which is at acme in whole graph. Whereas men in UK, New Zealand and USA have at about 70% of jobs in the year 2005. In the span of 10 years, the overall jobs of men had increased around 10% in each country
Additionally, there is a slight improvement in women's job too. Although Australia and New Zealand are the two countries with minimum amount women employment. Both countries possess about same percentage of women employment in 1995 and 2005, which is approximately 25% in 1995 and about 40% in 2005. However, Switzerland and UK have profusion of women employment rate in both years.
