Experts say that law is something that can influence human behaviour. Some people believe in favour of this argument while others don't. This essay is discussing about whether law can change human behaviour or not.
Human beings are chaotic by nature. Without proper law and order in practice, our society cannot ensure the saftey of individuals. For instance, in first world countries where the law on human rights are properly executed, human development index is much higher than that of third world countries. Actually, immigration statistics shows that more and more people want to immigrate to these countries for a better life. So this is how law can positively influence in the life of humans.
Increased adherence on law can be a negative thing too. There are counties in which, the laws are so strict that people want to escape from its iron clutches. Recently, there was a news article regarding a middle eastern girl who wanted to seek asylum in Canada due to her country's outdated dehumanising laws. This is a perfect example how law can negatively influence on one's life.
Although there are negative influence from rules on people's life, a law is a good thing to have. Laws brings order in modern life. All the pros of law outweighs its cons. In conclusion, a good law can affect people's life positively.
