According to gold medals, four leading nations were United States, China, Great Britain, and Russia obtained 46, 38, 29, and 24, respectively. For other nations, they gained about a half of or less than a half of Russia: South Korea (13), Germany (11), France (11), Italy (8), Hungary (8), and Australia (7).
For the silver medals, United States, China, and Russia were the top three nations winning second place awards with 29, 27, and 26 pieces, respectively. The following group was including Germany, Great Britain, and Australia. All of these countries gained approximate 17 medals. The other lower ranking nations achieved less than 12 medals.
