There are mixed views whether to travel alone or with a tour group when visiting abroad and I believe that the best way is to travel alone because of two reasons. First, by traveling alone, you have all the time for yourself to see what you want, whereas with a group, they have a schedule to follow and sometimes you might miss out certain places. Second, in some countries, traveling with a group is the easiest way to identify yourself as a tourist and it makes everyone in the group a likely target for thefts and pick-pocketing.
