The bar chart illustrates the percentage of people who used social networking sites in Canada in two separate years.
It is noticeable that the proportion of those using one site was the highest in both years, while the least people used five sites. Overall, there was a growing tendency to use more than one from 2014 to 2015.
Although just over one-fifth of internet users did not use any networking sites in the two years shown, the proportion in this category slightly fell from 22% in 2014 to 21% after one year. Likewise, the group of people using one site declined sharply from just over one-third in 2014 to 28% in 2015.
In contrast, there was an increase in the figures of those who used two sites, three sites, or five sites over the period analyzed. these figures for these groups was 23%, 12%, 5%, and 2% respectively in 2014, and then rose to 24%, 16%, 8%, and 4% by 2015.
