She also mentions that if we have some environmental or climate change; because these trees are uniform, all of those are going to die.
Second, the article claims that genetically modified trees tend to grow faster, give greater yields of food, fruit, or other products and be harder, and bring a lot of economic benefits. However, the professor contends that it cost so much for its seed and by law, whenever the farmers want to plant a new tree, they must pay for every single tree.
Third, the reading avers that using genetically modified trees will satisfy the demand for woods and prevent overexploitation of wild trees. The lecture opposes this point by saying that it causes more damage because these trees grow faster and compete for sun and water with other natural trees.
