As clearly seen as, over-grazing is a main reason for worldwide degradation and contribute about 35% with first position, whereas deforestation is an inevitable in causes of land degradation, which is an accounted by 30 percent. Furthermore, excessive cultivation is another factor in land degradation by 28% worldwide.
Moving further, considering the effects of land degradation on different parts of the world; over-gazing is a main problem in Oceania about 11.3 percent, while in North-America it is not considerable problem. Moreover, Europe vulnerable to the over-cultivation about more than 7 percent, while in Oceania cultivation is not major cause. Furthermore, higher degradation clearly seen as in Europe follwed by Oceania and North-America corresponding about 23, 13 and 5 percent.
Overall, North-America is affected by land degradation with smaller proportion. Secondly, Europe is a more effected due to deforestation and cultivation. Over-grazing is the prominent issue in all three parts of the land.
