Write a letter to your friend who lives in another town and invite him/her to a party you are going to organise.
In your letter, explain:
– why are you holding the party
– who are expected to be present at the party
– invite your friend and give directions on how to get there
Write at least 150 words.
Dear John,
How are you and your wife? Hope both of you are enjoying as earlier! Even though it has been just two weeks since we last met, it feels like 2 months. I am writing to you to invite both of you to attend the 50th anniversary of our grandparents. As it is such an auspicious event for our family, we are going to celebrate it in the “town hall” on 28th June 2019.
We have invited almost all our near and dear ones, especially the District Councillor who will be the surprise guest for our grandparents.
Town hall is situated at the outer ring-road of our town. After reaching airport of our city, take the first left towards the city zoo, drive until you reach the science museum, and at the end you will reach outer-ring road. Drive for 2 more kilometers, and you will see the “town hall”.
Kindly block your calendar for this special day. Hope to see you in the event.
Best regards,
Bibhu
