The line graph depicts the London’s Pollution level for 400 years. They are measured in micro grams per cubic meter.
Overall, the predominant ones for rising the unwanted dust are the Sulphur dioxide and Smoke. When compared to Smoke, Sulphur dioxide plays a vital role.
Interestingly, both Smoke and Sulphur dioxide started of their contribution with similar value. But when the years moved on the rate of trouble created by Sulphur dioxide increased dramatically. It touched the peak by the year 1850. This was not a healthy surge as they were not constantly growing. They had a lot of fluctuations from 1950 to 2000.
Smoke has also got a good share for expanding the impurity levels. It went to its maximum between 1850 and 1900. Their contribution was also Wavering after 1900. When compared to Smoke, Sulphur dioxide has kept itself in a good position. By 2000, both of them had a dramatic drop down to 0%.
