The graph consists of upward and downward trends. The unemployment degree in the US showed a steady and fluctuated decline, while the percentage of work force in Japan experienced an upward pattern.
At the beginning of the unemployment vates of the USA and Japan were nearly 7% and 2,5% the extent of unemployment increased slightly all over the period, but in March 1996 there was a significant drop. After that it continued its unstable rise and steadily exceeded the vate of the US between March 98 and March 99. On the meantime, unemployment percentage of the United States was fulling fitfully, until stabilized a little from the March of 95. However, in recent year, indicators of both trends became slightly identical and reached 5%.
The number of unemployed people is unstable in present days and it was levelling off during the period.
