The diagram shows different parts of a wind turbine and possible locations that it can be installed.
the wind turbine is one of the important renewable energy devices which can convert wind energy to electricity. A wind turbine has different parts. It is composed of three blades that the material of blades can be fiberglass or wood, wind sensor, generator and a steel tower that all other parts are installed top of it. There is also a computer that receives information from the sensor then can adjust the direction and angle of blades.
The wind turbine can be located in various places. There are off-shore, on-shore and domestic wind turbines. All several kinds have their own cons and pros. For instance, in off-shore type that is located in the sea, the landscape is not ruined however, expenses for installation is too much. Domestic turbines produce electricity locally. In this case, the output power is about 100 kilowatts. On-shore wind turbines are usually installed top of the hill where the wind is strongest.
Generally, all types of wind turbines have the same parts although, the location of installation can be different.
