Adebayo Abimbola:
The plans depict the way Grange park was in 1920 during its first opening and the same park now.
Overall, the park now has quite a number of new features which include an amphitheatre for concerts, a Rose garden at the center instead of a fountain as well as a new water feature and play area.
Starting from the entrance at the Eldon street, the used to be a rose garden by the left and a glass house by the right. This arrangement has been changed to just a water feature located by the right. Proceeding further, in 1920, there was a water fountain directly opposite the entrance, this has also been changed to a rose garden which is surrounded by seats. Also, the small stage for musicians has been replaced with an amphitheatre which can be used for concerts.
Situated by the left and right of the entrance which opens from Arnold avenue are rose gardens. The garden by the left remains intact while the one at the right has been changed into a café which now lies behind a pond for water plants.
