This bar chart contains production and consumption data for electricity in 2004,in 10 main countries. These countries are china, the united states, russia, Japan, India, France, Brazil, Germany and South korea.
The most electricity was utilized in china, where more than 5,000 billion kWh electricity was generated and consumed. The amount of production and consumption was also huge in the united states, with the figure for generation and consumption is 4,099 and 3,866 respectively.
There was a huge gap between the other countries and the top two countries, as the generation and consumption of electricity in the united states was at least four times as much as former' s amount of electricity. The other countries had a production ranging from 1,057 (russia) to 485.1 (korea, Rep.) and consumption varying from 1,038 (russia) to 449.5 (korea, Rep.).
Overall, the top two countries generated and consumed the most electricity in the world,while the rest counties consumed much less power.
