Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ............,
Dear Eric,
I am writing this letter with regards to give some suggestions about cafeteria set menu in our college.
I am Tim Frank, student of 3rd year and mastering in Food science technology. The dining hall in our institution is huge and environment friendly. We also have large buffet counter with hot plates, which keeps the food piping hot till the end of lunch time.
There is one concern which has arised in my mind is of the food menu. As I am aware that our college is situated in southern part of India and mostly food preparation is of that region itself. Recently, I have observed that, there are some days where students avoid food from cafeteria and food wastage is also on the higher side as the food doesn’t look appetizing.
Is it possible to inculcate dishes from northern part of India, as there are students from other parts of India. Also, if possible, without increasing food cost, can we modify some of the dishes which will look appetite to the students.
I will be waiting for your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Tim Frank
