In less developed countries, are the disadvantages from tourism as great as the advantages?
Recently, the phenomenon of the merits or demerits of the tourism industry in developing countries and their corresponding impacts have sparked a heated debate. Although this industry is beneficial as it is regarded by the substantial number of individuals both constructive and positive, others hold opponent views. I am inclined to believe that this idea can be plus as it could develop some brilliant aspects for its adherents.
From a social standpoint, the idea of the magnitude of the tourism advantages or disadvantages in developing countries can provide the society with the noticeable effects. From my own experience, when I was a university pupil, I performed an academic experiment which discovered these details. Firstly, developing and providing the facilities and infrastructures to bolster the conditions to attract the tourists is quite promount for developing countries because they bring money. Hence, this industry has a direct positive influences on boosting economy. Furthermore, the multi-national cities with different travellers have a wide range of cultures, attitudes and tasts which leads to create a droad wide of job or financial opportunities for dwellers. Moreover, tourism industry has the ability to raising the awareness of the people of these countries and instructing them to how achieve the quality in their lives.
On the one hand, there is no doubt some inhabitants asserted that tourism for the developing countries has some drawbacks. They asserted that citizens in these countries have not adequate information to behave appropriately to tourists and this issue might lead to some confrontations. Also, observing the quality life of travellers may increase the dissatisfactory feelings among the population and lead to some critiques.
In conclusion, while there are several compelling arguments on both sides, I profoundly believe that the merits of tourism are far outweigh their demerits.
