The bar chart compares the proportions of students, who achieved second class degree or better at a reputable UK university, between native and non-native learners in 2009.
Overall, tha data suggests that most of the disciplines mentioned, specifically 7 out of 8 have the student rate of over 50% in both group with Information Technology being the most remarkable subject.
Turing into details, there is a substantial gap between 2 groups reaching up to 30% in Information Technology.Overseas students, in contrast to domestic counterparts accounted for the highest value of 85% compared to about 55% in turn. Electric Engineering had the number of international leaners exceeding British ones sinificantly as well. However, the opposite trend appeared and spreaded through the half left 4 subjects, namely English Literature, Art History, International Law and Sociology, which indicates the outstanding performance of global collegers in technology-related fields as opposed to indigenous ones who showed a more successful result in social-inclined fields.
There is also notable exceptions, particularly in Nursing and Accountacy reflecting similar figures of 75% and 60% respectively. Besides that, International Law is the least popular subjects with a very low percentage of just over 40%.
