The line graph compares the figure for books read by man and woman at Burnaby Public Library between 2011 and 2014.
In general, there was a considerable rise in the number of female and male read books in this library. In particular, the figure for books was read by male increased dramatically over the period shown.
In 2011, 5000 of books read by women, more than 2000 compared to that of men. Over the next 2 years, this figure saw a significant rise of 3000 in the number of books read by women; however, that of men remained almost unchanged.
From 2013 onwards, the figure for male saw a considerable increase of 6000. Similarly, this library underwent a significant climb to 10000 in the number of books read by the female, after that decreased to 7000 in 2014. Meanwhile, the number of books was read by the male which reach a peak at 14000 over the same period.
