The bar chart gives information about the time spending for telephone call was made by australian among the three given categories for seven years consecutive years from 2001 to 2008.
In general, although the local call showed a dropping trend from 2005, it was still the most common in Australia while two categorizes had a gradual growth over the years.
The figure for a local call was the highest throughout the period, experienced steady growth between 2001 and 2004, from 72 to nearly 90 billion minutes. After reaching a peak of 90 in 2005, it had fallen back to 72 billion in 2009.
In terms of the national and international calls and mobile calls, they showed a similar pattern of growth between 2001 and 2009. The australian were prone to use mobiles instead of the local, the figure for mobiles had a dramatic rise from 2006, standing at 46 billion in 2009 while the figure for the national and international continued its rising trend from 38 billion in 2001 to 61 billion in 2009.
