Overall it can be seen that there was considerable growth in the sales of mobile, handheld and online games compared to other games from 2000 to 2006. While the sale of console game has got decreased in the same period.
The sales of console game in 2000 was near to 6 billion and gradually decreased to around 3 billion in 6 years. The sale of online game has started in 2001 and rose gradually till 2005 and it was near to 6 billion and thereafter it surged to about 8 billion. Selling of mobile games has started in 2002 and it has grown to over 6 billion in the year 2006. Handheld games started in 2000 by near to 12 billion sales and increased to around 14 billion in 2002. Then it was almost constant for 4 years and rose in 2006 considerably.
