The line graph gives information about the consumption of four various types of meat in Gram per person in a week from 1979 to 2004. Different types of meat include Beef, Chicken, Lamb and Fish.
Overall, in the first few years, consumption of Beef was the highest and from around 1989 it has been replaced by Chicken. Fish was aways least popular meat.
People were consuming more than 200gm of Beef per week in 1979 and this quantity was fluctuating for almost 5 years. Then after 1984, it starts reducing and reached to over 100gm per week in 2004. Also, the quantity of eating Lamb’s meat has reduced from 150gm to almost 50gm in the period.
Chicken started from less than 150gm per week in 1979 and reached to over 250gm in 2004. Consumption of fish has started over 50gm in 1979 but reduced in the subsequent 2-3 years to 50 gm. It was then almost constant throughout the period.
