In order to improve a country’s education system, young
students should be allowed to openly criticize their teachers
during class time. Do you agree with this? What are some other
ways education systems could be improved?
It is always a debatable topic whether students should be allowed to criticize their teachers openly or not. Some people feel that there is no harm to comment. However, I believe that pupils should respect their teachers and should not be allowed to criticize them during the lecture. This essay will support my point of view and will also suggest some techniques in order to improve the education system.
First and foremost, in every country teachers are in a respectful position due to their role in making the country's future bright. If students got the legal permission to comment on their teachers then they will not understand the importance of their teachers in the development of their lives and will not respect their mentors. For instance, last year in Delhi public school of India, one teacher got beaten by some students after he scolds them for behaving inadequately. Thus, teachers should not be criticized by their students.
However, there are some methodologies which would be helpful to upgrade the standard of education. Firstly, education should not become a boring activity for youngsters instead; it should be fun learning for them. To achieve this, schools and colleges should hire rightful as well as highly educated teachers with innovative mind-set. Secondly, teachers should make use of technology appropriately to illustrate and elaborate content. For example, there is a school namely "3Idiots school" in Leh, India where students are being taught subjects in an innovative manner and they get a chance to brainstorm on various ideas to make research on the subject they have the most interest in.
In conclusion, due to the respectful image of teachers among society and their importance in developing countries, I believe that under no circumstances students should allow to condemn their teachers. Instead, to make the education system better, the government should appoint great quality of teachers and make education interesting for adolescent children.
