Some many assert that the successful political leaders should listen to the electorate. But the exceptionally precious capability to be great is that these leaders choose actions on their own and consitently committed to their original principles. They can't just vacillate as the unpredictability of the population.
First, an effective leader should be wise, with the ability to discern right things from wrongdoing. Furthermore, he need to be perspicuous, having discernment to figure out what is th most importamt things to do, which one is crucial, and how he can do it with accent of people. The voice of the majority is not the most effective element to his policy, while, On the other hand, the principles and objectives are, which encourage him to pursue this service.
Second, to be successful, he needed to glue to his original principles. With vibration between choices, hardly could someone accomplish some great achievements. As the same reason, a politician should focus on the original principles to form his policies, lead his goverment, and make some progress and improvement to his country. For example, if he believes in building a high way is better than building a school, which is the want of the electorate, then he should concentrate on it rather than listen to people and start to vibrate.
In the end, if a political leader want to be effective, he should remain consistently committed to particular principles and objectives, as his ambition to be elected. He should never follow the majority to vibrate, nor could he lose the ability to discern appropiate action from wrong policy. To be successful and great, the one has to stick to the original goals and righteousness once for all lying in his heart.
