The growth and forecast at the coastal area of Brightsea can be seen in the maps.

Present day, Fisherman cottage built in 1950 is converted into Cafe at north-east area. The new road is constructed running through it from this area to south east to link the aforementioned building and Hotel. In the middle of 1990s, Lighthouse keeper’s house was established there but was demolished now. Ferry Wharf is located in the centre of the map modernised from Jetty in the previous years.

Looking the expansion planning, Restaurant and Flats are predicted to build at the tip right corner of the map. Another improvement can be looked at south side of previous location which are Supermarket and Parking Area will be constructed. Then, the extension of Hotel will be projected in the same location beforehand, and new amenities such as Sailing club and Telecommunications Antenna are likely to be erected as well. Ferry Wharf will be moved to this location in the future.

Overall, changes on public facilities and accomodation is improved now. However, many new buildings will be added in this site planned in the following years.
