Overall, women always had the largest share in all those years, with men being in the 2nd place and children having the lowest share. The year with the highest percentage of people was 2006, whereas, the lowest percentage was seen in the year 2001.
The chart shows that the total percentage of people who consumed fruits and vegetables increased over time from 2001 to 2006. From 2001 to 2003, there was only minimal increase in the percentage of men (17%, 17% and 18% in those 3 years) and children (12%,12% and 13% in 2001,2002 and 2003 respectively). These numbers increased more rapidly in the following 3 years. The percentage of women followed a more incremental manner.
After 2006, the next two years showed that the percentage of women and men decreased. children percentage saw a rise till 2007 but followed the same pattern of others in 2008.
